Thank you for your interest in joining the first Black intercollegiate fraternity. The success of Alpha Phi Alpha inspired the founding of other Black Greek-Letter Organizations.
The Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, chartered January 19, 1919, continues to enact the organization's motto of being "First of all", being "Servants of All" and "Transcending All" as the first alumni chapter west of the Mississippi.
Below, you will find information on the basic eligibility requirements to become a member of this great chapter and fraternity.
Any professional male may be presented as a candidate for membership in this chapter provided that he:
1) Has earned a 4-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (includes accredited online university)
2) Is of good character
3) Is a registered and active voter
4) Is sponsored by two members in good standing from the chapter. Click here for more information.
