Thank you for your interest in joining the first Black intercollegiate fraternity. The success of Alpha Phi Alpha inspired the founding of other Black Greek-Letter Organizations. Below, you will find information on the basic eligibility requirements to become a member of this great chapter and fraternity.
Membership Requirements
Any professional male may be presented as a candidate for membership in this chapter provided that he:
1) Has earned a 4-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (includes accredited online university)
2) Is of good character
3) Is a registered and active voter
4) Is sponsored by two members in good standing from the chapter. Click here for more information.
